The American Academy offers a complete competitive sports program for boys and girls (grades 6-12). We offer athletic teams in all major sports at the junior high, junior varsity, and varsity levels. A “no-cut” policy allows every student who wants to participate an opportunity to play on the team of his or her choice regardless of past experience or abilities in that sport. Our coaches provide quality instruction in all sports. Sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and conditioning are all key components of our sports program.

 

Our athletic program has provided students with the opportunities to strengthen their character, their minds, their muscles, and their passions. Through the hard work, grit, and “never give-up” attitude of our student athletes, our teams have gained a huge fan following. Our teachers, administrators, and families attend many events, creating a special kind of camaraderie while cheering on our teams.

In honor of our student athletes, awards ceremonies are held for team members and their families at the conclusion of each season.
