After leaving a premier LD school in NYC and moving to Palm Beach County 6 years ago, my biggest fear was my son’s education. Diagnosed with a Central Processing Disorder at a young age, finding the right learning environment for Conor has always been my number one priority. Luckily, we found the Academy program at American Heritage School and could not have been more pleased. The Academy program is everything I was looking for in an upper school. It is a true bridge program offering a challenging, college preparatory curriculum and experience while promoting individualized success through multi sensory learning environments, smaller class sizes, individualized attention, and all with some of the best teachers and administrators I have ever seen. Each and every one of them has and continues to be fully vested in Conor’s success. Now a junior in the Academy program, Conor has surpassed all of my expectations, hopes and dreams. He is a member of the National Honor Society, RHO KAPPA, Quill and Scroll, the 909 Live Production Team and recipient of some of the highest academic and leadership honors at the school. Conor is a confident, bright, creative, and articulate young man that sees a very promising future for himself. We both owe a great deal of gratitude to the school as it would not have been possible without their commitment to him.
As an educator and a parent I am thrilled with the quality education my daughter received in the Academy program. She thrived academically and was also involved in many school extracurricular activities. She became a well rounded student who was well prepared for the challenges of college.
