Meet Our Speaker
Dr. Arthur Brand is a clinical psychologist and has been in private practice with his wife, Ana Kelton-Brand, Ph.D. in Boca Raton, Florida since 1987. Dr. Brand and his wife Ana have two adult children – a son who is a clinical psychologist in Delray Beach and a daughter who is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at University of Miami. During his free time, Dr. Brand enjoys tennis, traveling, photography of landscapes, architecture, animals, and orchids, (he has over 100 orchids growing on his property!).
Expertise 
Dr. Brand focuses on a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues as he aims to provide an eclectic brand of therapy that includes cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, solution-oriented, mindfulness meditation and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapeutic components. His approach is highly personalized and tailored to each client in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, helping them attain their desired goals.
 
Credentials
Dr. Brand received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in child and adolescent Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida in 1985. He received his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida in 1982 and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in 1979. He completed his predoctoral internship (1984-1985) in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He has also worked for two years in a private psychiatric inpatient hospital.
