Lisa Cornelio is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 30 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s transitions. Specializing in therapy, coaching, and college counseling, Lisa equips clients with concrete strategies to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their goals. With deep expertise in attention and executive function challenges, including those related to ADHD and stress, they integrate mindfulness techniques tailored to each individual. As a compassionate provider, Lisa Cornelio is dedicated to supporting people of all racial and ethnic identities, as well as the LGBTQAI+ community, fostering a sense of agency and well-being in every client they serve.
Drawing from decades of experience in elite high schools and private practice, Lisa Cornelio brings a unique perspective to guiding students and families through the college application process. Their background as a therapist, executive function coach, and writer allows them to help students authentically express themselves while reducing stress and even finding joy in the journey. With an approach shaped by personal perseverance—like training for an Ironman despite initial challenges—Lisa Cornelio understands that achieving goals often requires the right support.
