Ruth Rumack
Ruth Rumack is the visionary founder of Ruth Rumack’s Learning Space (RRLS), a premier educational support center in Toronto dedicated to empowering Pre K-12 students, including those with learning differences. Since establishing RRLS in 1996, Ruth has cultivated a unique approach to learning that extends beyond traditional tutoring, focusing on personalized, research-based Direct Instruction programs. By integrating multisensory and kinesthetic teaching methods, she has created an engaging and effective learning environment that meets the diverse needs of every student.

With over two decades of experience, Ruth and her team of Ontario-certified educators have helped countless students build confidence and achieve academic success. RRLS offers customized 1-to-1 instruction, group classes, and specialized camps in areas such as written expression, executive function, and organization. Committed to collaboration, Ruth ensures that RRLS works closely with families, psychologists, and school staff to provide a comprehensive support system. Through her dedication to innovative, student-centered education, Ruth continues to transform the way children learn, grow, and thrive.

Dean Nolle
Dean Nolle has been a dedicated member of the American Heritage community for 21 years. Before becoming Dean of Students in 2011, he was a highly respected AP Economics and AP Government teacher, helping students develop critical thinking skills and a strong understanding of financial and political systems.
 
Prior to his career in education, Mr. Nolle served as Vice President at BlackRock Investment Management, bringing real-world expertise into the classroom. His diverse experience enables him to guide students toward academic success and personal growth, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future.
 
Natalie Cashman
Natalie Cashman has been an integral part of the American Heritage community for over 23 years. As the Upper School Vice Principal and Co-Principal of the Summer Institute, she is dedicated to fostering academic growth year-round.
 
Holding a Bachelor of Science in History and a Master of Education in Leadership, Ms. Cashman understands the importance of continuous learning. She believes that summer is not just a break, but a valuable opportunity for students to stay engaged, sharpen their skills, and start the new school year with confidence.
